A very tasty cream that goes well for a light and vitamin-laden dinner.
Ingredients for the Spinach Cream:
- 1 liter of chicken broth
- 2 large potatoes
- 250 gr of spinach
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Grated Parmesan cheese.
- Salt and pepper
Preparation of the Spinach Cream:
First we are going to soften the potatoes, instead of parboiling them I wrap them in plastic wrap (envoplast) and I pee them in the microwave for 7 minutes, this is how I make the express puree, it saves time and they are soft.
While the potatoes are in the microwave, we are going to cut the onion and garlic and we are going to fry until they are slightly white. Then we will add the cut spinach and cook for 3 minutes.
When the potatoes are ready, we will peel them and add them in the blender just with the chicken broth and the spinach sauce along with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
If you want it creamier, you can add a tablespoon of powdered milk. We sprinkle the cheese and serve hot.
This recipe can be made with chard or lettuce, it is just as good! You can also see other very rich creams.
