Ingredients for Pasta a la marinera a la cinnamon
- 400 gr of long pasta
- 500 gr of prawns, shrimp or prawns
- 8 to 10 anchovies (in their oil)
- Olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 can of crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- The juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- (if you like spicy add 1/2 chilli)
Preparation of Marinera Pasta
First of all, put salted water in the pot and when it is boiling add the pasta. Cook for 7 minutes, strain it and add a little olive oil so it does not stick.
Cinnamon? Yes! Believe it or not, it gives it a super special and tasty flavor (I didn’t believe it either until I tried it).
This pasta is made in 15 minutes. First mince the garlic and sauté it in the olive oil (4 tablespoons) along with the anchovies (including their oil). When the anchovies are dissolved, add the peeled prawns, shrimp or prawns .. salt, pepper and cinnamon. Cook for approximately 3 minutes over high heat.
Add the can of crushed tomatoes, stir everything (add half a cup of water) Cover and cook for 15 minutes, add the lemon juice and stir. Mix the pasta with a little sauce and when serving add more sauce over it.
