Ingredients for stir-fry vegetables
- A bunch of asparagus
- Artichoke hearts in pieces
- 1 onion
- 2 carrots
- A piece of broccoli or cauliflower
- Green peas
- 1 clove garlic
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Preparation of the sauteed vegetables
This really has no science whatsoever. and it is a perfect companion for meat, chicken, fish, rice or vegetarian pasta. If they are fresh, wash them first … and if they are frozen, run them in water for a while.
We put the onion to fry and then we add all the ingredients, salt and pepper to taste and we are stirring until they are golden brown.
I bought the package of frozen assorted vegetables, in a TV program I saw that they are even better than the fresh ones because they maintain all their properties and in the end they are more practical than peeling and chopping … it works both ways.
Here is the dish of the day, with hake, fresh lettuce salad with the dressing you want and vegetables. Ligth and delicious!
